Cabbage Curry Recipe
Description
Cabbage curry is simple fried cabbage with additional spices. It is delicious and mostly used as a side dish in Kenya. It is a good source of fiber.
Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage
- 1 Onion
- 1 clove garlic
- Coriander
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt
- Garam masala (optional)
- Water (optional)
Preparation Procedure
- Cut the cabbage into thin shreds and set aside
- In medium heat, pour oil into a frying pan add chopped onions stir, and let them cook until they are slightly translucent.
- Add mashed garlic and mix
- Add sliced tomatoes and let them cook until they are well mashed then add tomato paste and mix
- Add garam masala and some little water and let it cook until the cabbage is translucent but slightly crunchy. Add more water if you want to cook it more
- Sprinkle coriander
- It is ready to serve while hot
