Noodles with Eggs Recipe
Description
Noodle with eggs is one of the favorite meals among teenagers and toddles in Kenya. It is a delicious meal that takes a few minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 large tomato
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon mashed Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 Egg
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 120g indomie noodles
- 1 medium carrot
- Bell pepper
- 500 mls Water
Preparation Procedure
- In medium heat put a frying pan and pour 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- Add onions and cook until golden brown, add mashed garlic and ginger then stir
- Add Tomato Paste and tomatoes allow them to cook until the tomatoes are well mashed
- Add grated carrots, chopped bell pepper, salt and turmeric, and mix.
- Beat an egg and add to the mixture allow it to cook for a minute
- Add 500 ml of water and allow it to boil
- Add 120g of Noodles and cover to simmer for 2 minutes
- Serve while hot
