Description
A doughnut is a tasty breakfast treat made from dough. You can easily make it at home or grab one from a nearby store. All you need is some baking flour that you will need to bake it before dipping in hot cooking oil. Doughnut are loaded with carbohydrates.
Ingredients
- Flour
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Milk
- Vanilla Essence
- Cooking oil
- Baking Powder
- Yeast
- Melted Butter
Preparation Procedure
- Sieve flour into a bowl
- Mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla essence in a different bowl
- Then add sugar, baking powder, yeast and mix
- Add your sieved flour as you mix
- Knead the dough properly until it is soft and elastic but not sticky
- Cover the dough for 1 hour
- Punch the dough to remove the trapped air
- Cut using doughnut cutter or improvise by using objects that are circle in shape but with different sizes
- Heat cooking oil in a deep-frying pan
- Deep in the cut dough and keep flipping them until they are brown
- Remove them using a frying spoon
- Coat them with what suits you
- Doughnuts are ready
