A doughnut is a tasty breakfast treat made from dough. You can easily make it at home or grab one from a nearby store. All you need is some baking flour that you will need to bake it before dipping in hot cooking oil. Doughnut are loaded with carbohydrates.


  1. Flour
  2. Sugar
  3. Eggs
  4. Milk
  5. Vanilla Essence
  6. Cooking oil
  7. Baking Powder
  8. Yeast
  9. Melted Butter

Preparation Procedure

  1. Sieve flour into a bowl
  2. Mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla essence in a different bowl
  3. Then add sugar, baking powder, yeast and mix
  4. Add your sieved flour as you mix
  5. Knead the dough properly until it is soft and elastic but not sticky
  6. Cover the dough for 1 hour
  7. Punch the dough to remove the trapped air
  8. Cut using doughnut cutter or improvise by using objects that are circle in shape but with different sizes
  9. Heat cooking oil in a deep-frying pan
  10. Deep in the cut dough and keep flipping them until they are brown
  11. Remove them using a frying spoon
  12. Coat them with what suits you
  13. Doughnuts are ready
