  • 500g Rice
  • 3 Potatoes
  • ½ kg Meat
  • Salt
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Cooking oil
  • Pilau masala

Preparation Procedure

  1. Boil the meat until it is soft
  2. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut them into pieces
  3. Blend garlic, ginger, green pepper, and tomatoes
  4. In a cooking pot pour 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
  5. Add Onions and stir, let them cook until they are golden brown
  6. Add meat and mix well
  7. Add potatoes and mix
  8. Add pilau masala and salt to taste
  9. Add the blended mixture and a little water and stir
  10. Allow it to cook for 5 minutes
  11. Add rice and stir
  12. Cover with aluminum foil
  13. Reduce the heat and let it cook for 20 minutes
  14. Pilau is ready to be served with some kachumbari
