- Fish
- Onion
- Tomatoes
- Coriander
- Green bell pepper
- Cooking oil
Preparation Procedure
You can either buy fried fish or fresh fish
- For fresh fish remove the scales properly
- Rub salt on the fish
- Heat enough cooking oil in a frying pan to deep in the fresh fish
- When hot put in the fish let it cook for 5 minutes and flip over to cook the other side for 5 minutes
- One can decide to eat fried fish with some kachumbari and ugali or make with some soup
- For the fish with soup, set the fried fish aside on a plate
- Prepare your ingredients
- In another frying pan pour oil
- Add chopped onions and stir until they are golden brown
- Add green bell pepper and tomatoes (add more spices of your preference) and mix well
- Add 1 cup of water to the mixture
- Put the fried fish and let it cook for 5 minutes and flip to cook for another 5 minutes
- Fish is ready to be served with Ugali
