Why are Hostess flour sold at higher prices than others

Why are Hostess, Amaize and Raha Premium (Kavagara) flour sold at higher prices than kina Jogoo and Soko? What is it that they add to their unga to command a premium price. Or is their high prices meant to hoodwink consumers that their products are better than other slightly lowly prices brands.

With the current high prices of unga, I thought they are all sourcing from the same suppliers thus buying at almost similar prices.

Anyone with an idea to explain this price variance.

Nikimalizia, in future let's get used to consuming unga from posho mills. Even better where possible to vary our starches with cassava, yams etc.

Price boils down to quality and sifting technology. There is no additional nutritional value but some people like tast of Hostess, Amaize and Raha Premium (Kavagara). For me, i do not see the need to buy expensive cooking flour. Just use Jogoo, Soko or any other that you find affordable. Or even the Kisiagi one.
